Here is a corner of my workshop/studio. A few days ago I finished sculpting a small figure I call Paxter.
I formed him from Polymer clay. This was my first time using this kind of clay and I found I really enjoyed it.


Here are a few other characters I had made previously. Not really happy with any of them, but then again I'm not sure that I'm really happy with Paxter either.
I've been interested in casting for a couple years now. A week or two ago I broke down and bought a casting/molding kit. Making molds and casting my characters is very difficult for me. I've decided to start a reject box.
Here are some pics of the first Paxter that came out somewhat good. He still has many flaws, but he's my best reproduction so far. I went ahead and painted him and then fucked up two more casts.
I'm still sculpting much too big. This is hard and discouraging.
