Cadaver Twins

It is safe to say I am infatuated with the work of Splurrt. I LOVE his monsters. There are a handful of toy makers out there right now that I'm a bit obsessed with, but Joe Merrill's work wins over all. Freaks, monsters, dead things, everything I look for in a toy, he has it covered. Here is my latest Splurrt custom. I'm very happy with the way this one turned out and I'm getting ready to do another one.

Ultrus Bog

Here is Skinner's Ultrus Bog I just finished painting. I'm not quite savvy as to how I can find many of these rare vinyl figures for the best prices. I get on eBay often to search for them. I found a few of these guys that were out of my price range, but this one came unpainted in turquoise and flesh colored vinyl and his head wouldn't turn. He was considerably cheaper than the others listed due to this undesirable issue. I'm guessing it was glued, but the seller knew about as much as I did, so I've left him this way in lieu of breaking him. No worries, I'm still happy I have one. :)

Alavaka and Sick Box

I painted up an Alavaka. I recently found out this guy was sculpted by Splurrt, who is one of my heroes right now. Love his work

And before I ran out of resin a few months back, I managed to cast one more of my Sick Boxes. He is the 3rd one I've painted, but I cast four, one of which went to a fellow artist in Canada. Unfortunately I haven't heard back from her. She's an excellent painter and I'm dying to see what she does with him.

Debris Japan

Wasn't sure what I was gonna do with this guy. If I could go again I'd make him red and more devilish, or maybe he just needs more tattoos. But that is very time consuming and time is what I don't have lately. I'm happy with his skin tone and decided to go with more of a white-trash-with-shitty-tattoos look. I added the chain and piercings that help finalize the feel I was going for. I googled "regretful" "trendy" and "worst" tattoos to help this fellow out with his look. This guy could possibly be my neighbor here in good ol' Kokomo, Indiana. He reminds me a bit of myself.

Here he is with his new family. Thanks for looking.

Baron Dark

Repainted a Playmates' Baron Dark from Skeleton Warriors the other day.

Also painted up the last of my resin Mumpkins yesterday . Don't know if I'll do anymore of this fella.

And finally, I decided to sell this guy. Sad to see him go, but I have to make room.

As always, thanks for looking!
